Again as part of the ongoing focus on this site I am going to add this page to try and keep a record of my golf in 2024. I wasn’t sure how the operation would affect me so it has taken me a while to play. I have also had to cancel a couple of games with Roger as I have been unwell.
But I did get out on Saturday 8th June and played 9 holes without too many difficulties.

11th June
Played 14 holes with Roger. Erratic to say the least. You can find the full scorecard here
18th June
Again 14 holes with Roger. Again erratic especially off the tee with the hybrid. Most times about 50 yards along the ground. Better off the fairway. Lost balls on the 2nd (left), 12th (into trees on right) and played the wrong ball on the 14th. Chipping with 7 iron poor.

| 26/07/24 | Arscott 14 | 85 | 25 | Best I have played for a while with quite good short game using a 7 iron and getting close. Finally got a par on the 12th but very fortunate. Excellent drive but hit the second wide right. But it hit a tree and bounced back onto the fairway. I was able to hit a 7 iron to the green and two putt for my first par there.
